How To: Christmas Ornament Nail Art

Time to celebrate! Mixing Gelprisa Gel Polish with Nail Gelz Gel Paints makes designing fun and when we add touches of Dazzle Rocks holographic glitter to the design, the design becomes spectacular! The holographic 3D effects of the glitter make this simple design pop and sure to become one of your favorites. Products used: Gelprisa Gel Polish -- Gelprisa "Juicy Peach", Gelprisa "Rockin'It Red" and Gelprisa "Hello Sunshine" or your favorite Gelprisa colors. Tammy Taylor "Clean- it"- Solution used to clean the nail surface once gel has cured. Tammy Taylor "Wipe Its" - (especially for Gels) "100% lint free wipes" that leave the nail surface completely clean. Nail Gelz Gel Paints- Use Nail Gelz Gel Paints in "Brown" and in "Yellow"; add to Gelprisa "Hello Sunshine" to achieve a deep mustard color. Dazzle Rocks -- Use Dazzle Rocks "Rock Me Red" from the Dazzle Rock Jingle Bell Collection to produce the holographic 3-D effects in the design. Top Gel+ - To seal the design when finished. Step by step directions for the Christmas Ornament Design: 1. Mix Gelprisa "Hello Sunshine" with the Nail Gelz Gel Paint Brown and Nail Gelz Gel Paint Yellow to achieve a deep shade of mustard. 2. Apply a thin coat of the deep mustard color polish over the entire surface of the nail and cure for 2 minutes under a UV light or 1 minute under a LED light. 3. Apply a second coat for full coverage and cure for 2 minutes under a UV light or 1 minute under a LED light. 4. Apply enough Clean-It Solution on a Wipe-It towelette to thoroughly clean the surface of the nail. Clean the entire surface of the nail. 5. With the Detailer Brush and the Gelprisa Gel Polish "Rockin'It Red", create the shape of an ornament in the middle of the nail. Once your are satisfied with the shape of your ornament, sprinkle the Dazzle Rocks "Rock Me Red" over the ornament and cure for 2 minutes under a UV light or 1 minute under a LED light. 6. Using black striping paint, draw lines to resemble dry tree branches above your ornament. 7. Using white striping paint, gently pat areas of the branches to simulate snow on the branches and the top of the ornament. Use the same white striping paint to add details to the ornament bottom. 8. Seal the design with Top Gel+ and cure for 2 minutes under a UV light or 1 minute under a LED light. 9. Apply enough Clean-It Solution on a Wipe-It towelette to thoroughly clean the surface of the nail. To finish, clean the entire surface of the nail and apply Tammy Taylor conditioning Cuticle Oil.
